Petaluma People Services Center and Hope Counseling Join Forces to Enhance Mental Health Access
PETALUMA, Calif., November 25, 2024 – In a significant step to expand mental health resources in southern Sonoma County, Petaluma People Services Center (PPSC) announced it will integrate the programs and clients of Hope Counseling starting December 1, 2024. This collaboration seeks to address community mental health needs with greater reach and efficiency, particularly for the most vulnerable populations.
Giving Tuesday: I’m Not Okay
“It’s gonna be alright, it’s not okay, but we’re all gonna be alright.” Every year when I sit down to write this letter, I consider it my way to share with all of you not only the work we do at Petaluma People Services Center, but also my way to share with you the need in our community. PPSC continues to stay true to our mission and we expect to work with over 45,000 community members this year.

We’re excited to announce the start of this year’s 1,000 Petaluma Bowls! Now in its ninth year, this cherished event unites our community to fight hunger by creating and donating beautiful, handcrafted bowls. All proceeds support PPSC’s programs, including our Home Delivered Meals, which provide essential nutrition and daily check-ins to those in need.
