Mission Statement: PPSC is dedicated to improving the social and economic health of our community by providing programs that strengthen the dignity and self-sufficiency of the individual.
ABOUT US
For more than 50 years, Petaluma People Services Center (PPSC) has been a trusted place of care and support in our community. Since our founding, PPSC has grown alongside Petaluma responding to evolving needs with compassion, innovation, and an unwavering belief in the dignity of every person we serve.
Over the years, PPSC became known for offering a wide range of support across many areas of need. Today, we honor that legacy while moving forward with a renewed, intentional focus so we can deepen our impact, strengthen outcomes, and serve our community with greater clarity and effectiveness.
Under this renewed direction, PPSC now operates 16 core programs delivering more than 25 essential services, all aligned across five Pillars of Focus. These pillars reflect where our expertise is strongest and where we are committed to making long-term measurable change.
Each year, thousands of our neighbors turn to PPSC for support that is practical, personal, and rooted in dignity whether that support comes through a warm meal, a counseling session, housing advocacy, youth mentorship, or compassionate crisis response. Our work is hands-on, relationship-driven, and grounded in evidence-based practices that promote stability, resilience, and self-sufficiency.
We are focused on doing the most meaningful work we can. This focus allows us to be better partners, stronger advocates, and more powerful stewards of the trust placed in us by our community and stakeholders. At our heart, one thing has never changed: People Helping People. Today, tomorrow and for generations to come.
Our five Pillars of Focus are: Senior Services, Mental Health, Youth Services, Housing & Fair Housing, and Crisis Intervention. Learn more about them by using the navigation bar above.
