PPSC in the News: Cash infusion welcomed as county looks to bolster mental health teams

We're excited to share that an article has just been published highlighting the crucial work of mobile crisis teams in Sonoma County, including our very own SAFE Team. The article covers the recent approval of nearly $4.5 million in funding by county supervisors to support these teams, which provide essential mental health crisis response services.

The funding, largely provided by Measure O and the Sonoma County Department of Health Services, will bolster the efforts of four key mobile crisis teams, including the SAFE Team. Our team has been a vital part of the community since its inception in 2021, responding to thousands of calls and helping those in need without the involvement of police.
