Adult Day Respite
The Adult Day Respite Program at Petaluma People Services Center offers a welcoming, engaging day program for older adults age 60 and over designed to support independence, connection, and well-being while allowing participants to remain in their own homes for as long as possible.
This structured, social program is offered in a safe and secure setting and is licensed by the CA Department of Social Services as an Adult Day Care Program (license #490104577). Our days are intentionally designed to nurture the mind, body and spirit while also providing meaningful respite for caregivers.

A Place to Belong
This is a caring place to connect, laugh, and be yourself. Participants are invited to enjoy a cup of coffee, make new friends, and take part in activities that stimulate the mind, support physical well-being, and celebrate a sense of humor. Our staff takes the time to listen, because being seen, heard, and valued matters.
Our volunteers assist with activities in a safe, supportive environment and are there whenever help is needed. Together, we work to support independence while fostering connection, dignity, and joy.
