Fair housing for Petaluma now provided by COTS

For many years, Petaluma People Services Center has supported our community through Fair Housing services aimed at promoting equal access to housing opportunities and preventing discrimination in housing practices. Fair Housing services for Petaluma residents are now being provided by COTS (Committee on the Shelterless), a trusted organization specializing in housing support across Sonoma County.

COTS offers Fair Housing assistance to low and moderate-income residents within the City limits of Petaluma. The COTS Fair Housing program can provide tenants with assistance related to reasonable accommodations and advocacy, as well as answering general fair housing questions. COTS also provides fair housing training for tenants, landlords, and other local organizations providing housing support to Petaluma residents. COTS does not provide legal advice or assistance related to fair housing practices.
