Petaluma People Services Center is seeking Bilingual Spanish individuals with a good working knowledge of child development, familiarity with major types of child psychopathology, and have skills in the application of social learning principles to child behavior problems. An associate or bachelors in a related field (child development, social work, psychology) or other related experience is required. We will also accept applications from individuals at the Master’s or Psy.D. level working towards licensure in mental health. The individual will be responsible for providing individual, family and group services utilizing the Triple P Positive Parenting model (training will be provided). A two-year commitment is requested due to the amount of training required to provide services (this is a PAID position). Under the Director of Counseling and Prevention, the employee is also responsible for coordinating case management activities in accordance with federal, state and local standards, guidelines, regulations and established policies and procedures of Petaluma People Services Center. Travel to off-site locations within Sonoma County is required. Morning, evening, and weekend work is often required. Pay depends on experience and intern/licensed status.
